DER KELLER

For this upgrade of an existing bar at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, our aim was to refresh the interiors while preserving the history and identity of Der Keller. We refreshed the furniture using traditional German colours that complement the original German bricks covering the walls and ceilings and decorated plain walls with wooden window shutters to recreate a distinctly German look. We also updated and improved the functionality and design of the bar and redesigned the lighting system for a more intense, moody feel. By introducing pinewood features, we added an aromatic element to the space, creating a sensory experience for patrons of the establishment.
